What is the Lymphatic System?

The lymphatic system is a complex network of tissues and organs that help rid the body of toxins. The main job of the lymphatic system is to transport lymph throughout the body. The lymph fluid contains white blood cells that are vital to the body and its ability to fight infections.
The body contains two times more lymph fluid than blood, however, the heart is what pumps the blood, while the lymphatic system does not have an internal pump and relies on movement and physical activity.
The lymphatic system can become congested due to many reason including: lack of physical activity, poor diet, stress, hormonal imbalance, environmental toxins, damaged/removed lymph nodes and more. ALT can help create proper flow of the lymphatic fluid which can have a positive impact on many conditions.
The lymphatic system plays a vital role in the body’s overall health and immunity to disease. The more we take care of it, the more it will take care of us.
